Since the
Iranian revolution Iran started supporting the extremist SHIA
factions in Pakistan and due to the support and backing of Iran
the SHIA extremism got a boost in Pakistan. The main purpose of
doing all this was to bring down a SHIA revolution on the
pattern of 1979 Iranian revolution and to make Pakistan a SHIA
state. For this purpose Iran supported the SHIA factions in
every way. The organization supported by Iran were Tehreek
Nifaz-e-Fiqah-e-Jafriya. (TNFJ). The main objective of this
organization could be assumed by its name only which indicates
the imposition of Fiqah-e-Jafriya in Pakistan as the supreme
Law. Later on Iran established another organization with the
name of Sipah-e-Muhammad. (SMP). SMP is the band of extremists
and terrorists who dont compromise on their cause.
The HQ of SMP is
located in Thokar Niaz Baig in Lahore. This is the no go area
for the govt. agencies. Thokar Niaz Baig is full of arms and
weapons which includes pistols, Kalashnikovs, G-3s (Iranian
made), and other rifles, machine guns, Rocketry Propelled
Grenades and other weapons including bombs etc. The most of SHIA
community present in Pakistan is well trained in using such
weapons. According to an estimate there are about 23,000 weapons
of different types in the Thokar Niaz Baig. Thanks to the
co-operation and financial assistance of Iranian govt. that SMP
is maintaining such a huge stock of weapons. Most of the workers
of SMP are robbers and dacoits and they have their hideouts in
Thokar Niaz Beg. In the last decade police once tried to raid
and arrest some of SMP workers involved in the robbery but
failed in doing it so because they were unable to enter in
Thokar Niaz Baig and SMP warned police authorities not to enter
the Thokar Niaz Beg. Once police raided but didnt found even a
single knife form Thokar Niaz Baig. No one knows where those
arms and robbers were hidden. SMP workers are often seen with
sophisticated weapons many times once in the police raids police
was trapped by the SMP activists and police had to quit the
operation leaving behind five burnt vehicles.
To establish
understanding between different sects and to develop mutual
understanding Milli Yagjehti Council (MYC) was established.
During the discussions of MYC the demand to eliminate the
objectionable and abusive (cursive) materials from the SHIA
literature was demanded by Sunni parties, SMP immediately walked
out from MYC session and refused to meet demands of removing
objectionable materials against Sahabah-e-Karam (r.a) in SHIA
literature. When the secretary general of SMP Allama Mureed
Abbas Yazdani who was also the representative of SMP in MYC did
not agree with SMPs decision to withdraw from MYC on the issue
of objectionable SHIA literature he was threatened and forced to
resign from the sectary general of SMP. After he was threatened
he shifted himself to Islamabad . before going to Islamabad he
was kidnapped by the armed men of SMP because he was about to
address a press conference in Lahore in Shezan Restaurant. He
was taken to Thokar Niaz Baig. After three days he was released
and again nominated as the Sectary General of SMP. After going
to Islamabad he was assassinated by two strangers who were
someone well known to Allama as on their arrival they were
seated in the Guest room and Allama also presented them with
cold drinks. One suspicious thing is that the guard of Allama
went somewhere before the arrival of suspicious guests.
The persons
suspects of killing of Allama Mureed Abbas are Munawwar Abbas,
Shakir Naqvi & Ghulam Raza Naqvi. All of the events clearly
indicates that the assassins of Allama Mureed Abbas Yazdani were
from SMP. But the cunning minds of SMP played a double game they
finished the moderate person Allama Mureed Abbas who wanted to
settle down issues with Sunnis and they blamed the SSP
leadership of responsible of killing of Allama Mureed Abbas
Yazdani. So they hit two targets with one arrow. Another
advantage they took from assassination was that they
demonstrated the street power of themselves. The clashes of SMP
workers with police were the clear warning to the govt. that no
one can stop the storm of SHIAs. During Janazah of Allama Mureed
Abbas the body was from Thokar Niaz Baig to Nasir Bagh where
the Janazah of Allama Mureed Abbas was scheduled. When the
Janazah procession started its journey to Nasir Bagh almost 70%
of the people had Kalashnikovs and other weapons. When the
Janazah reached the Samnabad the people started firing shots in
air and broke glasses of trapped vehicles in traffic jam. As the
Janazah reached the Nasir Bagh, SMP activists started brutal
firing at police which resulted a no. of police casualties.
After the Janazah SMP top leadership immediately went away and
the firing started again which continued till an hour or so
approximately. But police failed in capturing even a single
person because the mob was highly disciplined and organized.
This is the
one dark aspect of dangerous extremist SHIA politics in which
the SHIA also sacrifice unknowingly and killed by SHIAs
themselves. Every year it happens before Muharram that some of
poor and working class SHIAs are killed by the SHIA extremists
themselves in order to show their street power to the govt. and
to demand more security in Muharram. It is just like a snake who
lays eggs and later eats its own children. Since extremist SHIAs
are not even sincere with ordinary SHIAs then how can they be
sincere with the Sunnis and this country. As their history
reveals that they always conspired against the Sunnis. Their
network is so strong that though knowing all these facts 99% of
SHIAs still take the side of SHIA extremist organizations. They
should think about it that these policies of SHIA organizations
will take us and our country where, only towards destruction. |
