Why does a SHIA person while saying his prayers do Sajdah on a
Mour (Khak-e-Shafa or Turbat)?

A:
The practice of the SHIAs of making Sajdah on a Turbat is based on their
reverence of the land of Karbala where Hadhrat Hussain (RadhiALLAHu Anhum)
was martyred. Their practice is erroneous and unfounded in the Shari'ah.
